Entry

Visa costs

Fees for Visa Extension

For an extension of your stay or a visa renewal, the following fees must be paid (only in native Nepali currency):

Per day during the extension period, pay the equivalent in Nepali rupees of $2. If a MultipleEntry option is sought for the extended time on an F1 single-entry visa, an extra US$ 20 or the equivalent in Nepali currency is due. Foreign visitors must pay an additional price of NPR 3, or the equivalent in US dollars, on top of the standard visa extension fee if they forgot to reissue their visa & need to accomplish so at a point of departure.

If a foreign visitor stays longer than the allotted 150 days on their visa without getting an extension, they must pay an extra visa cost as per F3 and a fine as outlined in Section 10 Sun-Clause 4 in the Migration Act of 2049. Transit Visa

Advice for Indian citizens

Citizens of India may go to Nepal as long as they possess one of these documents:

Passport, driving license with a photograph, identity card issued by a government agency, ration card with a photograph, voter identity card with a photograph, registration papers issued by the Indian embassy for Indian citizens residing in Nepal, ad libbed/temporary identity cards given by the Indian the embassy with the Indian citizen in the case of a crisis, and a document with a photograph and establishing identity issued by the subdivisional magistrate or authority are all examples of acceptable identification documents.
